LADY DEVILS CHANGE BRACKETS, PLAY AGAIN MAY 22
South Fulton's Lady Devils were scoreless in their first round of play in the TSSAA State Softball Tournament May 21 against Oliver Springs, 5-0. The Lady Devils will now face off with Hollow Rock-Bruceton, who lost to Jo Byrns today, on Wed., May 22 at 11 a.m.
Maddie Gray pitched for 4 innings, and Caroline Barclay, 2, for the Lady Devils, with Gray striking out 3 batters and Barclay, 1. Gray allowed 5 runs and 3 hits.
#2 Gore, Gray and Anna Claire Barnes recorded hits for South Fulton.
B. Thornton was the winning pitcher, striking out 4. Thornton, L. Alcorn and F. Christy all had hits for Oliver Springs.
