Kirk appointed as Fulton County’s Dir. of Special Education

Jessie Kirk has been named the new Director of Special Education for Fulton County School District.
She is a Fulton County High School alumnus, holds a Master of Arts in Special Education from Murray State University and a Master of Arts with an emphasis in Education Administrative Certification with an endorsement in the Director of Special Education from the University of the Cumberlands.
She has dedicated over 11 years to the Fulton County School District, fulfilling the role of Special Education teacher in the elementary school, represented the teaching staff on the elementary advisory council and has been involved in various other school committees.
She is the mother of two children, Jadyn and Jordan, both of whom are enrolled in the Fulton County School District.
“It is with great honor and pleasure that I have the opportunity to serve in a new capacity as Director of Special Education at Fulton County Schools. I enjoy seeing students overcome challenges, achieve their goals and make a meaningful difference. I am excited to collaborate with teachers, students, parents and the community to relentlessly pursue excellence,” Kirk said.
