AREA OBITUARIES -- JERRY S. HALE

Mr. Jerry S. Hale, age 88, of South Fulton, Tenn. passed away Mon., Sept. 2, 2024 at the AHC of Union City.
He was born on May 25, 1936 in South Fulton, Tenn. to the late Eston Hale and Olive Bauer Hale.
Jerry was a member of the Crutchfield Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran. He was a material handler for 30 years for the Ford Motor Company in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Jerry loved golfing and driving around the area.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Crittenden Hale, to whom he was married June 9, 1962, three sons; Jerry Shane (Janet) Hale of Homewood, Illinois, William Aaron (Therese) Hale of Crete, Illinois and Todd David (Hallie) Hale of Colorado Springs, Col.,  four grandchildren; Jessica and Jerilyn Hale both of Crete, Illinois, Jasmin Hale of Clovis, California and Jamison Hale of Colorado Springs, Col., three sisters; Brenda (Terry) Pulley of Fulton, Ky., Sandra Bowlin of Winter Springs, Fla. and Rona Butts of Paducah, Ky.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers; Bob Hale and Bill Hale.
Pallbearers will be Shane Hale, Aaron Hale, Todd Hale, Bill Prather, Bill Stewart and Kevin Mills. Honorary pallbearers will be Mack Curtsinger, Larry Henderson, Terry Outland and James Kindred.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Sat., Sept. 7, 2024 in the Hornbeak Funeral Home funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Pilot Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Saturday until the hour of service.
