AREA OBITUARIES – Mary Ann Lawrence

Mary Ann Lawrence, age 81, of Water Valley, Ky., passed away on Sat., Sept. 14, 2024 at The Waters of Union City, Tenn.
She was born on Aug. 16, 1943 in Springfield, Ill., to the late James Roberts and Dorathea Taylor Roberts.
Mary Ann was a member of the Bayou de Chein Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a retired LPN. She lived in Beecher City, Ill., before moving to this area 24 years ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Becky Caldwell (Kenny), of Union City, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Ashley (Brad) Turner, of Paducah, Ky., and Zach (Brittany) Faulkner, of Elizabethtown, Ky.; six great-grandchildren, Joey McGuirk, of Wickliffe, Ky., Ireland McGuirk, of Paducah, Ky., Sloan McGuirk, of Paducah, Ky., Cambell McGuirk, of Paducah, Ky., and Mackenzie Faulkner and Matthew Faulkner, of Elizabethtown, Ky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lawrence, whom she married, June 17, 1961 in Litchfield, Ill.; and a son, Roger “Chip” Lawrence.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tues., Sept. 17, 2024 at the Hubbard Cemetery in Beecher City, Ill. Visitation will be held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, KY from 4-6 p.m. Mon., Sept. 16, 2024
