AREA OBITUARIES -- LARRY THAYER

Mr. Larry Thayer, age 75, of South Fulton, Tenn. passed away Thurs., Sept. 19, 2024 at his residence.

He was born on Sept. 10, 1949 in Jackson, Mich. to the late George Edward Thayer and Alberta Green Thayer.

Larry had retired from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as a tire builder. He moved to this area 41 years ago from Jackson, Michigan.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra K. Graves Thayer, to whom he was married Dec. 31, 1969, two sons: Chad Thayer of South Fulton, Tenn. and Jeremy M. Thayer of Washington State, two grandchildren: Brittany Lewis and Ashley Nicole Thayer both of Kenton, Tenn., two sisters: Mary Thayer of Jackson, Michigan and Jeanette Wolttmon of Michigan.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: George and Wally Thayer and a sister, Barbara Thayer.

There will be no services held at the Hornbeak Funeral Home.
