Lady Pilots runner-up at CCA Christmas Tournament

The Fulton County High School Lady Pilots finished as runner-ups in the Community Christian Academy Christmas Tournament after defeating CCA Dec. 20 before falling to Dresden in the championship game Dec. 21. The Lady Pilots are now 6-3 on the season.
Dresden 64, FCHS 45
The Lady Pilots shot 43.2% from the field, making 19 of their 44 field-goal attempts, but only shot four three-point attempts, making one. They shot 16 free-throws, making six of them for 37.5%.
JaMesha Brown and Jaleeha Smith led the Lady Pilots with 14 points each, followed by Hannah Murphy with nine, LaBreah Crumble with six and Taylan Hendrix with two.
Brown and Smith also tied for team-high honors in rebounds, each pulling down 5 of the Lady Pilots’ 18 total team rebounds. Rounding out the rebounding totals for the Lady Pilots were Murphy with four, Crumble with three, and Kylee Harrison with one.
FCHS 60, CCA 15
Two Lady Pilots scored over 20 points in the Lady Pilots victory over Community Christian Academy, as Brown had 22 points and Murphy had 21 points. Also scoring for the Lady Pilots were Smith with seven, Harrison with five, Ide Redden with three, and Hendrix with two.
The Lady Pilots shot 45% from the field, making 27 of their 60 field-goal attempts, including two of their seven three-point attempts. They also shot 40% from the free-throw line, making four of their 10 attempts.
Murphy also had double digits in rebounds, as she had a team-high 10 rebounds as the Lady Pilots pulled down 28 total team rebounds. Also pulling down rebounds were Smith with seven, Harrison with six, Brown with three, and Crumble and Redden with one rebound each.
