Elizabeth Louise “Betty” Fields, age 96, a resident of Hickman, Ky. passed away on March 31, 2025, at the Clinton Hickman County Nursing Facility in Clinton, Ky.
Betty was born on October 29, 1928, in Charleston, W.V. to the late Charles A Stohr and Mildred Austin Stohr. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hickman, Ky. She was an avid bridge player, a homemaker and lived most her life in the Hickman, Ky. area.
She is survived by one son; Tony Fields of Hickman, Ky., one daughter; Cindy Parker of Fulton, Ky., five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one sister Alice Jackson of Dyersburg, Tenn.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William Ardel Fields, two sons, Bill Fields and Steve Fields, one grandson, and one sister, Patricia Hart.
Services will be held Monday, April 7, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hickman, Ky. Father Anthony Ortega will officiate. Burial will follow at the Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman.
