AREA OBITUARIES – Pat Cooley

Patricia Ann "Pat" (Kaufman) Cooley, 85, of Hickman, Ky., passed away at 6:55 a.m. Tues., Nov. 4, 2025, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Sat., Nov. 8, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hickman. Deacon Brent Kimbler and Father Anthoni Ottagan will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Woods, Jon Paul Allen, Danny Wall, David Kaufman, Don Lattus and Aaron Phipps.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pat was born Feb. 18, 1940, in Hickman, daughter of the late W.O. and Rosa (Lattus) Kaufman. She married Jimmie E. Cooley Aug. 4, 1960. He preceded her in death Aug. 20, 2023. Pat retired as a bus driver with the Fulton County school system after 30 years of service. She enjoyed working in her yard, hunting, raising cattle and horses and loved her dogs and cats. Pat was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hickman.
She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Eddington (Roy), of Hickman; two granddaughters, Leslie Woods, of Hickman,  and Lindsay Allen (Jon Paul), of Olive Branch, Miss.; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Woods, of Hickman, and Emberli Allen, of Olive Branch, Miss.; one step-granddaughter, Nikki Bonds (C.J.), of South Fulton, Tenn.; one step-grandson, Chris Eddington (Heather), of South Fulton; two step-great-grandchildren, Bryant Kimmons (Emma) and Hileaha Bonds, both of South Fulton; and one-sister, Katie Young, of Union City, Tenn.
She was also preceded in death by her grandson-in-law, Robby Woods; three sisters, Doris Martynak, Margaret Wall, and Louise Williams; and three brothers, Father Vincent Kaufman, Raymond Kaufman, and James Brice.
