AREA OBITUARIES – Maureen Harrison

Maureen (Harris) Harrison, 86, of Cayce, Ky., passed away Mon., Jan. 5, 2026, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wed., Jan. 7 in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Bro. Mark Dowdy will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Thayer, Bradley Hutchens, Bubba Harrison, Darrel Preuett, Jimbo Henderson and Don Campbell.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until the hour of services.
She was born Sept. 26, 1939, in Fulton County, Ky., daughter of the late Luther Andrew and Mildred Marie (Love) Harris. She married Joe Allen Harrison on June 1, 1958. He preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 2023. 
She was a homemaker and had been employed at the former Rumfelt Drugs in Hickman. She was a member of Cayce Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Kellie Thayer (David), of Union City, Tenn.; her son, Chad Harrison, of Cayce, Ky.; four grandchildren, Emily Ray (Don), Bradley Hutchens (China), and Denny Lee Nida Harrison, all of Union City, and David Harrison, of Memphis, Tenn.; four great grandchildren, Addison Harrison and Ayden Harrison, both of Fulton, Ky., and Cameron Gallimore and Carson Gallimore, both of Union City; four sisters, June Roberts (Doc) and Pam Wyman, all of Hickman, Ky., Vickie Etheridge, of Ellicott City, Md., and Cheryl Lunsford (Gary), of Union City; and one brother, Gary Harris (Barbara), of Fisherville, Ky.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Shelley Wheeler and Debbie Ward; and four brothers, Leon Harris, Roger Harris, Kelly Ray Harris and Gerald Harris.
