AREA OBITUARIES — Troy Eddington

Troy Glyn Eddington, 66, of Memphis, Tenn., and Union City, Tenn., passed away 7:15 p.m. Fri., May 15, 2026, at Tri Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tues, May 19 in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home in Union City. Bro. Shawn White will officate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Mon., May 18 and from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Tues., May 19.
Pallbearers will be Beau Simmons, Jeff Clark, Mitch Eddington, Gene Butler, Mike Parker and Ronnie Roncali.
Troy was born Jan. 9, 1960, in Fulton, Ky., son of the late Charles Thomas and Hildred Laverne (Spillers) Eddington. 
He married his high school sweetheart Tina (Patey) Eddington June 29, 2012. 
Troy received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Murray State University. 
He enjoyed working on the river and was employed by DeHart Marine for 35 years prior to opening Troy's Marine Electronics in Memphis. 
Troy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, golfing, attending concerts and his dogs and cats. 
He was an avid sports fan and loved supporting the University of Kentucky Wildcats, St. Louis Cardinals and Memphis Grizzlies.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Eddington; two daughters, Niki Collins (Fiance Jason Patterson), and Danielle Gallimore and husband, Adam, all of Union City, Tenn.; one son, Chance Collins (Paige Tyler), of Union City, Tenn.; his older brother, Hugh "Bo" Eddington, of Moutain View, Mo., and his twin brother, Roy Eddington, and wife, Debbie, of Hickman, Ky.; 11 grandchildren, Jenni Lei Summers, Laurel Summers, Carson Summers, Brantlee Patterson, Bryson Collins, Andrew Maddox, Colt Gallimore, Logan Gallimore, Peyton Tyler, Keegan Tyler and Maelyn Tyler, all of Union City; one great-granddaughter, Blakeley Holtzclaw, of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two granddaughters, Jordan Summers and Charlee Collins; and two sisters, Mary Sue Sullivan and Charlene Council.
