SOUTH FULTON MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL WELL REPRESENTED AT SPECIAL OLYMPICS; SFES FAMILY READING NIGHT WINNERS
Ms. Mary Jane's class at South Fulton Middle/High School recently participated in the Area 7 Special Olympics, with students and faculty cheering on the athletes for their competitions.
In the 50 Meter Walk, Kylee Burcham and Rebecca Winstead claimed a first place ribbon and Amber Stroud, a third place ribbon.
In the Softball Throw, Winstead, Burcham and Stroud all were awarded a second place ribbon.
Ian Gilbert and Stroud claimed first place ribbons in the Standing Long Jump, with Winstead earning a second and Burcham a third place ribbon.
Gilbert claimed third place ribbons in the 50 Meter Run and the Javelin Throw.

SFES FAMILY READING NIGHT WINNERS -- Each Tuesday evening, South Fulton Elementary School's Library is open to students and their families to enjoy a night of ready together, during Family Reading Night. In addition to enjoying reading together, students have the opportunity of winning a book during each weekly event.
