Doggy Pageant winners named for 2024 Banana Festival

Oakley, an Aussie Shepherd, and Myleigh Adams, won Best In Show in the 2024 Banana Festival Doggy Pageant held Sept. 21.

In the Best Attire category, Snoopy Joe, a Yorkie and Charlotte Johnson won first, Oakley and Adams won second and Nellie, a Boston Terrier and Brad Sullivan and Reese Sullivan won third.

In the Most Talented category, Clyde, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Clay Brummel won first, Peanut, a Shi-Weenie and Rayne Sills won second and Heidi, a Miniature Schnauzer and Becky Parker won third.

In the category for Prettiest, Oakley and Adams won first, Nutmeg, a Long-Haired Dachshund and Debbie Hodge won second, and Fred, a Malti-Poo and Thea Bond won third.

Clyde and Brummel won the drawing for a $200 value gift basket, with all Doggy Pageant participants entered to win, with registration.
