SOUTH FULTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL VETERANS DAY PROGRAM NOV. 11, 2024

Students in third, fourth and fifth grade performed a number of musical selections for their special guests on Mon., Nov. 11, when area Veterans, many of whom are relatives of students and staff, arrived to be seated in a place of honor in the school gym. Throughout the program, a large screen displayed the names of Veterans and their relation to students, who served in all branches in WWII, the Korean War, Vietnam and Operation Desert Storm. Under the direction of Music Teacher Tucker Pounds, each of the grades shared their tributes in song, including the anthems of each of the Branches of the Armed Forces, with guest Veterans standing to be recognized during their own Branch of service.
