FULTON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT HONORS VETERANS WITH PROGRAM NOV. 11

Fulton Independent Superintendent Terry Sullivan assisted students with special tributes to Veterans on hand for the District's special Veterans Day Program Nov. 11 coordinated by Karen Dean, recently elected to serve on the Fulton Independent School Board. Principal Heath Cartwright welcomed visitors and guests. Randy Jeffress of Fulton was guest speaker for the program, and spoke about his years served in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam war. During Fulton Independent School District's Veterans Day program held at Carr Elementary, FISD teacher Cayce Jones performed a rendition of America the Beautiful, accompanied by teacher Mark Paitsel. Each Veteran present received a special gift of appreciation for their service.
