USDA Presents Funding to Improve Housing, Facilities, Economies of Hickman, Fulton County on Tuesday
FULTON, KY. (November 18, 2024) - On Tuesday, Nov. 19, the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development will present funding to improve housing, facilities, and strengthen the economies of Fulton County, the City of Fulton, and the City of Hickman. The funding was awarded to nonprofit and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) Community Ventures.
In 2022, Community Ventures began providing homeownership and business support services in Western Kentucky to help the region recover from the devastating tornadoes that struck the area in December of 2021.
